Barkland Tree Specialists Limited has been operating since October 2003, both of the Directors Steve Owens and Jay Sibley have 22 years of experience in the industry. All our staff are fully trained to NPTC level and are continually improving their skills.
Our Health, Safety, Welfare and Environmental policy is constantly reviewed and updated, with the assistance of our Health and Safety advisor.
You will find on first contacting us our staff are friendly and professional. An appointment will be made that is convenient to you, a free estimate will be given and a quotation sent out after the initial visit. When you have accepted our quotation a check with your local council will be made on your behalf to check if you are in a conservation area and if any tree's have a preservation order. Once these checks have been carried out we will arrange for the job to be carried out on a date that is suitable to you.
We are based in Feltham, Middlesex and cover as well as a local area, West London, North London, South London, Central London, Berkshire, some parts of Bucks, Hertfordshire, Essex, and any area within a 50 mile radius of Feltham.
All work is carried out to BS 3998 standard. We follow a strict company method statement, and produce a risk assessment for all our jobs. We are fully insured for both public and employee liability, our insurance documents can be produced if requested.
We are corporate members of The Arboricultural Association and are in the process of becoming approved contractors. We are also a member of ISA.
Our clients include McNicholas Plc who we have been sub-contracting for since October 2003, this involves work on the railways. As this is such a high risk area, our company follows very strict Health and Safety guidelines. This applies to all of our jobs, regardless of size or location. As well as this, we work for the grounds maintenance and arboricultural section of Cardinal (Kellog Brown Root), who operates on behalf of London Borough of Ealing. We sub-contract for Service Team (on behalf of The Royal Borough of Richmond), CIP (on behalf of London Borough of Hounslow), London Borough of Islington, London Borough of Wandsworth and occasional work for The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. On top of these, we carry out work for several property management and maintenance companies. In addition to our sub-contracting works, we have a domestic work team who operate every day. We also provide a 24 hour emergency call out service.
